THAT'S A WRAP! EAGLES WIN ON SENIOR DAYPosted Saturday, May 23, 2009 by Vincent Bruno The Eagles completed their best season in a half dozen years and fiittingly, the six seniors on the team all contributed to the 5-3 victory over RBC. SP Pat O'Donnell flirted with a no hitter for 4 innings, going 5 in all allowing three runs with 3Ks to notch his third win of the year. Tim Ens and Arthur Barnek pitched a scoreless sixth and seventh, respectively, to save it for O'Donnell. Mike Farrell and Kevin Slavin each knocked in a run, while Tyler Cotterell had two hits and reached base three times out of the leadoff spot. Juniors Matt Salomonsen, Scott Bruno and Jeff Maher rounded out the scoring with each collecting a RBI. The Eagles finished the 2009 season with a 13-10 record in head coach Ryan Spillane's first year at the helm.
